The three sections alloted for the placement of the different positions are standard in most all cases, however as is common with many other cases, this case also often slips out of the third section, but sometimes it holds it alright. The case is thin and light and does not put a lot of extra weight to the tablet and it still manages to look really sophisticated. The tablet seems really secure even if the picture looks like it would fall out really easily, believe me it won't in fact I actually got a little worried because it was a bit difficult to take out, but eventually I got it out without much trouble. A small qualm that i have about the case though, is that it looks and feels like the flap that keeps the thing together will rip off when I have it folded and in my hand, so far... Read more

The back, which holds your tablet, is made of strong plastic, looks like the rubberized plastic shells made for mobile phones, hold the tablet securely, has the appropriate openings for the rear camera and flash, and covered with some sort of imitation leather that looks to be of high quality.
The flap, or front cover, is attached to the back with a wide (6 to 7 inches) leather-like band, with one part flexible enough to bend around the "spine" and a rigid part to hold the tablet up when it leans back. The grooves on the inside of the front cover hold the tablet steadily enough at 3 different angles. The entire inner side of the cover is made of felt. The cover is rigid enough. With the case closed and the rubber band keeping font and back together, you can control the power and volume buttons.
Caveats, for which I should have deducted one star:
