Acase Ultra Slim Bluetooth Keyboard Stand for HP Touchpad, September 13, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Acase(TM) Ultra Slim Bluetooth Keyboard Stand for iPad 2/Galaxy Tab/Iconia Tab/Xoom/Transformer/All Tablet pc (Electronics) I was a little uncertain about purchasing this for my mom's new HP Touchpad but after fighting through the installation and pairing process, I'm happy with the purchase. The keyboard is much easier for my mom than the touchscreen keyboard.
The stand itself is great. The keys are a pretty simple press. It's like the keyboard on a netbook. However, the installation and pairing process proved to be quite the challenge. After the ~4.5 hour charge, I had trouble turning the keyboard on. Flipping it to 'on' didn't do anything for a while. I'm not quite sure how I fixed it, but I kept flipping it from 'on' to 'off' and pressing and holding the 'connect' button. It eventually worked, after about 5 minutes.
The pairing process required twice the time. The keyboard required a passkey in order to pair with the TouchPad. I searched all over and could not find anything to use as the passkey. I tried "0000" and "1234" and neither worked. I was ready to give up and return the... Read more

It takes some getting use to when typing because the keys are small but it's much better than trying to type on the tablet touchscreen keyboard. Also, the location of a few characters are different, but easy to get use to with continual use. One reviewer stated the syncing was an issue and would take a long time, not true for me. As soon as I powered it on my tablet recognized it and synced with ease. I would recommend this keyboard.
