Best case for Galaxy Tab 10.1 soo far!, November 9, 2011 By Axt-Shin "Double Action" (The Muffin Top State) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase just put this case on and its wonderful. The case comes in three parts, theres the glass cover, the hard plastic shell, and rubber outside. If you already have a screen protector on your tablet, you can pop off the glass on the case. I left it on for the extra protection. I had to use baby powder to get ride of the air bubbles due to having a protective screen on my tab already. Kinad expensive but its better than those cheapo leather cases. The picture is a lil misleading, the case is solid black...I was hoping for what the picture shows. I wish there was lil grey on the case...it looks sweet that way.

Appears Otter Box does not (or not then) make a case for this tablet, which seems a bit short sighted. I must note that I have an Otter Box for an older iPod touch, but it has not worked as great as the phone case or an even older Otter Box case, as it broke off a plastic tab without being dropped, which now lets in debris to the case. Back to the Gumdrop case! It was a perfect fit, and I had no problems installing it. After what I hope is a fingerprint and smear free wipe down, it looks great and appears tough. Although initially disappointed that it did not have a smooth back to it, the nubby back gives an even more secure grip to it. Took a bit getting used to, but I like it now. The only minor quibbles is the slight reduction in touch sensitivity with the clear protective cover and the open speaker ports (which would mean a loss in sound, obviously, so this makes perfect sense -- as long as not...
