Here's the secret for those of you who are purchasing this...
1. Turn on keyboard power
2. Hit Bluetooth Key on keyboard
3. Scan for device on your dell (I'm assuming you know how to do this), you will see the keyboard listed as cc-bkb-6062
4. Tap it on dell and it will prompt you for a 4-digit code
5. Tap 0000 enter on your dell, then tap ok (the device will say pairing)
6. While it says "pairing" on the dell tap 0000 enter on the keyboard as well (this is the step not listed in the book)
7. Walla!! It should be paired.
Now, as for what I think of the keyboard, other than the fact that the pairing instructions are lacking so far I like it. It's the perfect size for my dell, and I have a leather case that props my dell up and I can easily fold the keyboard up inside the case. It took some time as the bluetooth and code/pin would not connect at the beginning. Code/pin that finally worked was 1234. There is also an order of steps that was not clear in its user manual, like which buttons to push on the keyboard first and when to enter the code/pin on the tablet. I don't recall the steps specifically as I tinkered with it for about an hour to try different orders and combinations. Keep on trying and it will eventually work. I tried 10 other brands prior to this that claimed to be compatible with my Dell Streak 7 tablet but none worked. I'm very relieved and happy that I found this product. The size is almost the same as the Streak 7, just little wider. Keyboard is the perfect size, not too small, not too big. Keys are in a perfect layout as they are staggered like the regular qwerty keyboard and not in a square grid. Another plus is that the keyboard is compatible with my niece's ipad2;... Read more
